Equipment: WNS2-1.25-Y
Project Background
The client, a large garment factory in Eswatini, Africa, was grappling with the challenges of energy transformation. With increasingly stringent environmental regulations, the factory’s existing coal-fired boiler system could no longer meet the rising emission standards. Consequently, the factory decided to upgrade its boiler system by replacing the coal-fired boilers with more environmentally friendly oil-fired systems, ensuring compliance with global environmental standards and promoting the business’s sustainable development.
Project Requirements
The main requirement from the client was to ensure a stable steam supply in the high-altitude environment of Eswatini, where low oxygen levels and reduced atmospheric pressure can affect boiler performance. Therefore, the client specifically requested a boiler system capable of reliably delivering 2 tons of steam. Additionally, the boiler needed to be compatible with both diesel and kerosene fuels to align with the local energy supply while achieving energy savings and meeting environmental goals.
Solution
In response to the client’s unique needs, ZOZEN Boiler customized a 3-ton WNS series oil-fired steam boiler. The boiler was meticulously designed to deliver a consistent 2 tons of steam and was specially adapted to the low atmospheric pressure found in high-altitude regions, ensuring efficient and reliable steam supply. The WNS series oil-fired boiler incorporates advanced condensing technology, enhancing combustion efficiency and maximizing fuel energy utilization, thus minimizing energy waste. Furthermore, the boiler supports both diesel and kerosene as fuel options, making it perfectly suited to Eswatini’s local energy supply. By reducing harmful emissions like NOx and CO2, the boiler ensures the factory meets stringent environmental standards.
Execution Process
To ensure the successful implementation of the project, ZOZEN Boiler dispatched a professional engineering team to Eswatini for the installation, commissioning, and operational testing of the boiler system. The team overcame the challenges posed by low oxygen levels and harsh weather conditions in the high-altitude area. Leveraging their technical expertise and extensive experience, the team ensured the successful commissioning and smooth operation of the boiler system. After several rounds of testing, the boiler’s stability and performance were fully validated, meeting all of the factory’s production requirements.
Project Results
The boiler system upgrade successfully enhanced energy efficiency and significantly reduced emissions. The newly installed WNS series oil-fired steam boiler not only boosted the garment factory’s production efficiency but also greatly reduced environmental pollution, making the production process cleaner and more environmentally friendly. The successful implementation of this project has also provided strong support for the sustainable development of local industries and contributed to the green development of Eswatini.
