As a highly energy-intensive industry, paper manufacturing relies heavily on steam across key processes such as pulping, drying, and forming. From the initial planning stage of its Liaoning production base, Vinda set a clear objective: to build a “Green Factory” that required a boiler system capable of delivering not only high-efficiency and stable steam supply but also achieving low-carbon emissions to support sustainable operations.
After a comprehensive evaluation and multiple rounds of technical consultation, Vinda chose to partner with ZOZEN Boiler. With extensive expertise in biomass energy solutions, ZOZEN tailored a 15-ton DZL series biomass steam boiler system specifically for the project. By adopting biomass molded fuels as the primary energy source, the system significantly reduces carbon emissions and boosts energy efficiency, perfectly aligning with Vinda’s green manufacturing vision.
To address common challenges associated with biomass fuels — such as high ash content and the risks of slagging and fouling — ZOZEN implemented a series of system optimizations: refining the furnace structure to enhance combustion efficiency, equipping the boiler with an online soot-blowing system to maintain continuous operation, and customizing the layout of the heat transfer surfaces to extend service life. These innovations not only ensure long-term operational stability but also greatly simplify maintenance and lower operational costs, providing strong technical support for Vinda’s sustainable production goals at the Liaoning facility.
